i bought these and they turned out to be the wrong item; not the merchants fault, mine since i thought these would have a transmitter to attach to my stereo. the company took them back, and i ordered the i903s which are what i wanted, and they work great. well made and well engineered. good sound. reccommended

It is one of those devised that off is “not” off until it is “physically” turned off, that is on the head phone it self. You will find your battery fully discharged in no time at all.
Otherwise the unit performs very satisfactory.

love the sound and convinience. Range could be better. Good battery life. Noise reduction adds more noise then it eliminates. Have tried two sets and both have the same issue with poor/no/negative noise reduction. Use them w/o the noise reduction and you will love them too. Only other problem is they don’t automatically connect (like my other bluetooth devices do).

The good electronics in this headphone are ruined by the cheap, poorly designed headband. I purchased this product because I wanted bluetooth wireless headphones, with noise cancellation, in a folding design to replace my Sennheiser wired headphones. The bluetooth in these headphones works perfectly – easily and reliably pairing with my Sony iPod transmitter. The headphones charge easily from a mini-USB connector and the battery retains its charge for a good length of time. However, as noted in other reviews, all of the products good features and negated by the headband, which is cheaply fabricated and poorly designed. After only two uses, the headband refuses to stay open and is therefore extremely annoying and uncomfortable. The bottom-line: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

I purchased these headphones to use with my HTC windows mobile cell phone. I currently use a pair of Sennheiser noise cancelling headphones, but didn’t like all the wires and the extra volume of the battery containing part. However, the sound quality of the Sennheiser’s are FAR superior to the iLuv. I listen only to classical music, and I think this explains why some reviews rate it much higher than I do. In classical music, you have very quiet parts contrasting with loud parts (dynamics). If I were listening to the loud parts (or to pop music) maybe I wouldn’t have noticed, but during the quiet parts, the HISS becomes unbearable. Also, the volume is too low. With my Sennheiser (wired) headphones, I use the cellphone’s volume at 30-40%, but even with the volume at 100%, the iLuv volume was still too low to listen to the quiet parts of classical music. I am no audiophile, but the sound quality is well below what would be acceptable for classical music listening, and add to that the loud hiss (louder when you use it with bluetooth than when you plug it to the PC) and the low maximum volume of the unit. I have returned it, and decided to stick with my old and good (wired) Sennheiser.
