Works perfectly so-far and I have not had any issues with volume and the call quality is very very good, best I ever had with stereo bluethooth headphones, and I own 3 other brands

...heads. Yes, that roundish thing that caps off my body does me in yet again. But I'm stuck with it so what can I do?

I picked this up at a certain big box electronics store (fact is, they're about the ONLY big box electronics store these days). The Halo paired easily with my iPod Touch, T-Mobile G1 and Sony Walkman NWZ-A829. Its sound quality was quite good, both via Bluetooth and via the corded option, although the only way I could achieve this given the size of my noggin was to use both hands to press both earpieces against my ears to get them to position correctly for the best sound. Obviously personally looking akin to something out of Edvard Munch's painting 'The Scream' really isn't a workable solution for me or anyone else with a head close to my own's physical size. Which is a shame because Jabra otherwise has created a really nice, minimalist slick-looking LITTLE headset (a fitting irony in that last bit of description) that for the bulk of the population probably won't have any fitment issues. But as I lamented earlier I'm stuck with the head I've got so alas, this particular Halo sadly isn't ever again going to find itself around my scalp.

Other observations: Its rechargeable design is a definite plus. Its volume and track advance controls are rather touchy and seem to me to have a bit of a learning curve. The hinges for collapsing the earpiece sections during storage seem rather cheapish and fragile to me; I'd tend to question how long they would last with repeated folding actions, and although the obvious workaround is to leave then unfolded and ready for use most of the time...except that the only way to shut them off is to fold them closed.

First, Amazon can't seem to keep these in stock. I personally buy everything from Amazon that I can. Unfortunately these are out of stock often and only available from third parties. At any rate, I bought them from Best Buy. Sorry Amazon! You were my first choice.

Now on to the headset itself. Awesome! Paired flawlessly with iPhone & MacBook. So light and small when folded ... yet a great stereo experience. I've called a couple of friends who tell me they can hear me perfectly; and I can hear them perfectly as well. The slider to control the volume is so unique and not at all hard to get used to. I understand that the headset does not skip to the next track on the iPhone; but that's not the fault of the headset. (Besides I really don't need to do that. I make daily playlists.) The one button does indeed end and accept calls and stop the music, so to speak.

This is a keeper!

i bought these headphones because i like to go to sleep listening to music... i wanted the headphone to be thin enough so i can sleep on them and i want it to be bluetooth...

it meets these 2 requirements but...it has a major flaw... when the volume is set at the lowest setting, it is very loud...i mean teenager loud... it's so loud that i doubt anyone could fall asleep with the sound level... it's loud enough that you could hear the music great on low while on the commuter train or in the public...

on the plus...the fit is perfect for me...and...the sound is superb...even while blasting... i don't know how long the battery will last since i can't listen to it for very long because of the volume problem...

i called jabra...they are working on a software fix...but...have no release date...

so...buy at your own risk...

Maybe it's just Bluetooth, but so far even with a full charge, this headset rarely connects to either of my macs or my iphone. I expected a lot more for this price.

I contacted Jabra about this problem and their support has yet to respond.
