The device is beautiful and well thought out. It charges using mini USB so I can charge it with the same car charger as my phone. It pairs well and the sounds quality is fine. People can hear me just fine when I use it for call.
However…
When I use it for music, obviously what it was designed to do, it skips. Every minute or so it will cut out for a second and then pick up where it left off. Something about how it processes the music seems to overload it and it can not handle simple audio playback. Also the buttons get stuck. I found it once cycling my phone’s music on and off because the button on the device had gotten stuck.
Others have mentioned this same experience in the reviews below, I should have listened.
As it is I will be returning it and finding something that can actually play music like a stereo headset should…
**Update**
The return process was beautiful! They were very helpful and sent an email with a prepaid, pre-addressed package label.
I replaced the device with an TRITTON AX BlueStream TRI-BH102 – Headset ( ear-bud ) – wireless – Bluetooth 2.0. It is almost an exact copy of the device in both form and function. However this device seems to have gotten the concept right and it performs much better then the Sonorix brand.

The Sonorix C3 Bluetooth Stereo Headset is the best electronic device investment I have made so far. The sound quality is next to none. Device works perfectly with Windows Vista.

There are several problems with this device:
1) This device is NOT Bluetooth V2.0 as stated on the sonorix website. The manual says bluetooth V1.2 and the firmware says 1.1. The actual rate when playing stereo is 224 kbps (v.s. 320kbps for V2).
2) The sound quality as a stereo headset is worse than, for example, the Sony bluetooth receiver (both has line out capability). The Sonix has ringing artifacts at the upper frequencies and the resolution is noticeably thinner (its like listening to mp3′s at 32khz instead of 44khz), and its muddier.
3) The Bluetooth range is HALF that of my Kyocera bluetooth stereo headphone which is also V1.2. The sound doesn’t appears to be buffered as when the sound cuts out and back in, the tempo increases slightly to catch up.
4) The lag time is worse than other bluetooth headsets. When watching video, normally I notice about 50 – 100ms lag between video and audio. The C3 appears to have longer lag time.
5) This device supports multipoint (it can connect to more than one device– e.g. your mp3 player and your phone). If you’re listening to music and a call comes in, you can press a button and automatically switch from the music to the call. The problem is when you end the call, it doesn’t switch back to the mp3 player and resume the music.
Now the good parts:
1) Voice quality (microphone) is very good. No echos.
2) solid and very well designed. The usb port is not covered by some cheap plastic that easily comes off.
3) The LCD screen has excellent quality.
4) Very easy to pair and setup.
